5 Bollywood Movies That Showcase Parkour In India
Commando 2
Any Vidyut Jamwal starter is bound to involve parkour moves. Yes the actor is playing a lead role and doing bad a*s stunts in the entire sequel. This movie is his second parkour contribution to the Bollywood cinema industry.
Ek Tha Tiger
This 2012 movie showcasing two of the most daring actors in Bollywood, namely Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. I guess this was the first time any Bollywood actress has gone far to showcase her talents as a true artist. Of course, we have seen the actress showcasing stunts in various movies like Dhoom 3 and others, but this was totally different. No doubt, Salman Khan has given his massive contribution in the movie, but he is not seen doing many athletic parkour scenes, unlike his co-star Katrina Kaif. Although, the duo look amazing doing parkour stunts almost in an entire scene.
Heropanti
When we name parkour, our beloved Tiger Shroff is not far behind Vidyut Jamwal. Tiger has done many parkour scenes in his movie Heropanti and all of us can see that he literally enjoys every move. Even in the song " Mere Naal Whistle Baja" he can be seen doing various flips, move, and jumps. Tiger has surely made his mark with his heroic stunts in Heropanti.
Commando
Yes, this is not an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, nor is it a copy of the original Commando movie released in 1985. This is a Bollywood movie released in 2013 and stars once again the legend Vidyut Jamwal. The movie depicts Vidyut and a savior of a helpless girl. In his attempt to do so, he uses his various parkour talents to escape from the villain and his subordinates. Commando movie truly depicts a single actors love and conviction for parkour and makes everyone understand about its essence. Moreover, the movie depicts that if you have the parkour strength, agility and flexibility, even the most difficult of circumstances seem very simple or shall I say easy.
Boss
This movie just had single parkour scene with people running behind our lead hero Akshay Kumar to catch him. The scene wasn't convincing at all but it did involve a lot of parkour stunts as well as failures. The scene was so professionally done, that it seemed too easy for anyone to do. Whereas, on the other side, compressing your body to pass through a circular wall isn't that easy. Therefore, I would like to say that it involved parkour moves, but they hardly got notice because of the professionally fast parkour moves.
